Can I color my hair without ruining the months I’ve put into unwashing it? I bought a box color from Shea Moisture, because Sally’s didn’t have any henna color. Will I set myself back to square one if I do this?
Late reply but I have been washing my hair with only water and the occasional bicarb wash for 5 months now. I get my hair coloured every 6-8 weeks and the hairdressers washes out the colour with proper shampoo. It doesn’t seem to make my hair greasy or anything afterwards and I just go straight back to washing with water. I do add some coconut oil to the ends as it does get dry for a week or so. Hope that helps!
